We almost fainted when our shipment of Safe Sippys landed on our dock today! We’ve raved about the Safe Sippy before, and now we’re even more excited. They’ve been upgraded and are ready to rumble:
- Threads are more defined so the lid screws on in a snap
- Leak-proof valve is all new and works like a charm
- Same great rubbery sleeve provides a comfortable grip, helps prevent dents, insulates little hands from cold and warm liquids
- All plastic used is certified free of Bisphenol A, phthalates, and are lead tested
- The combination of stainless steel along with the protective sleeve creates the most durable, ding-free cup available on the market
Soooo, who wants to win one? We’re giving away FIVE Safe Sippys to our loyal readers.
- To enter, just leave a comment on this post describing your favorite sippy cup.
- Blog about our giveaway and earn three more chances to win!
- Be sure to leave an email address so we can contact you.
- Winners will have their choice of colors.
- Contest ends July 31, 2008.
- Open to U.S. residents.

So far I like the Boon Sippy cup the best! These look great and I’d sure like to give these a trial run!
We’re using Born Free sippy cups now. I love that they’re BPA-free, but they can leak and have lots of parts. I haven’t seen these in a store near me yet. They look great, I’d love to try them!
What an awesome and fun giveaway! I am a first time mom and am really trying to only use products that are safe for our son. I have really valued the information offered through The Soft Landing. Thank you! I use “Born Free” and my son loves using them but I’d really like to find another brand that is safe to use as well! Thanks for the opportunity to win one to try!
I like the Nuby no drip cups the best. They don’t have lots of parts and my son seems to like the soft top. We’re kind of new to the sippy scene, though, so I’m willing to give anything a try (especially if I win one)!
The Nuby sippy cups with silicone spouts resemble the breast and nipple. So, not only is it BPA-free, it’s also helps my 6mo. old transition from bottle to cup. I would love to try a Safe Sippy for her next stage of drinking!
I like the Nubby sippys that are BPA free because they are easy to wash and have few parts. They are not the most durable and do still drip when upside down, but they prevent major spills. My daughter does not need a sippy at home now, but I am looking for a more grown up one for in the car. The Safe Sippy looks great!
We have loved the Nuby for a very long time; it’s been one of our daughter’s favorites ever since we moved to sippies. So soft and fun to chew (on occasion) for her, and fairly easy to clean of milk (where many of the other sippies we have are a bit of a grunt to clean…
We have one of the sKleemall n Kanteen bottleswith a sippy lid. I love it for my 2 year old and my one year old is getting the hang of it too so it’s good for him as well. I have to say that this safe sippy looks fantastic though…I’d love to win one for my little guy. He needs those handles to get a good grip!
I love the Foogo straw cups! My 5 year old uses them all the time. My 3 year old still likes sippy’s and I would love more then anything to try and win Safe Sippy’s. In fact, I can’t wait I am going to have to buy one tonight!! I am so happy they are in stock!! Yeah!! Thanks for the opportunity to win!
I have tried a lot of sippy cups, but we like the Nuby’s the best for the younger ones, and my 3 yr old is really liking her Playtex Coolster Tumbler.
I have tried a bunch of different sippy cups. Right now, I’m using the Foogoo straw cup for my 17 month old. It’s ok except the straw keeps coming off. I am hoping the safe sippy will be better!
We like the take and toss sippy for water and the nuby for milk. Both are easy for our 9 month old to get liquid out of and are leak proof enough to through in my purse or bag.
WOW! My baby is just entering the sippy cup stage and it would wonderful to give him a start with these tres cool cups. Please God, please let me win for once! ……..
My daughter has finally mastered the sippy cup! Right now we have the BPA free Gerber cups but I’d love one of these bad boys! Thanks for the giveaway!!
I love our nalgene BPA free sippy cup. Looks like a grown up cup which my 2 year old son loves!!
I really loved the Klean Kanteen for our daughter. I am excited to try the new and improved safe sippy for our son!
When I first went to purchase a stainless steel sippy cup I was really tied between the Safe Sippy Cup and the Foogo. I liked the Attractiveness of the Safe Sippy by far but since my son was under the age of 1 I decided to ultimately go with the Foogo based upon the fact that it had a soft spout, and unfortunately it looked like the Safe Sippy did not. Needless to say I’ve lost the Foogo, I didn’t like how little fluid it held, and my son is older; therefore I think he could handle a hard spout. So I really want and my son needs a new sippy cup desperately and I’m set on the Safe Sippy. I hope we win one, please!
I gladly blogged about this at http://lettersaftermidnight.blogspot.com/2008/07/safer-beverage-consumption-for-toddler.html
We’re just starting the sippy cup stage and will probably go towards Born Free, because we’ve loved their bottles. These look INCREDIBLE! Thanks for the great work!
My 11-month-old guy is still trying to master the sippy, but so far the fave is Born Free then the Playtex First Sipster. But I would love to try out the Safe Sippy in a straw like spout. I think that he might like that better!! Thanks for the giveaway!!
Klean Kanteen hands down- no bells and whistles but the spout is pretty darn leakproof for on the go!
thanks for the chance to win a safe product and for having a website concerned parents can go to for GREAT & IMPORTANT information for our families.
I will be letting all my friends & family know about your website. I have one little girl that loves her sippy & will soon have another one using a sippy .again thanks you for the chance to win a safe product in my home.
We have just started trying sippy cups and my son take to the Nuby the best, but would love to try the Safe Sippy, it looks great
Any BPA free sippy cup is my favorite at this point! I don’t have any experience with them (yet) I’m expecting my 2nd baby in December…my first is 4 1/2 and there was no information about BPA then. I do like an easy to clean cup.

We like the Nalgene sippy.
My son loves his Nuby sippy cups. Their BPA free, and he likes to chew on the nipple. But they leak so I’m not a big fan. Would love to try something else.
I really like the Klean Kanteens and they come in new colors now!
Hi:
I don’t have a favorite sippy cup yet because my daughter is still exclusively on breastmilk (she is almost 5 months). I have, however, started researching BPA free sippy cups and this seems like a great one, so I would like to get one.
Thanks
***Oh my goodness this sounds like a great sippie cup! Just the fact alone that the threads are more defined so the lid screws on in a snap. I have a NaturePure sippie cup and I always dread having to unscrew the lid because I have the hardest time getting it back on straight. It really makes me want to chuck it across the room sometimes! I would absolutely love to win a Safe Sippy for my daughter as well as for my sanity! Thank you so much for the opportunity!!

So far, my son tends to drink out of a glass i hold for him. Or, a green froggy from Ikea. But it’s just a trainer not a sippy– we need a sippy! And one I know is safe!
We bought the Born Free starter pack that included a sippy cup. So far, our 7 month old does well with it – though he does try to drink from the bottom of the cup which we believe has crushed our dreams of having a genius. The problem is that it leaks. This cup looks really cool mostly because its chemical free! I would love to give it a try (because we know the parents try the cups too) and I am sure my son will like it.
I would love to find a sippy that my son will use. I have had no luck whatsoever. The little guy just hasn’t liked any of the 10 brands I have purchased. Now, some may say he isn’t ready, but when he grabs my smoothies and dumps them down his shirt because he wants to drink them, I say he is ready! Now if only I could find one that is safe and user friendly…
hello…i hope the safe sippy will become my child’s favorite sippy cup. i am still exclusively breastfeeding my child, but a juice/water combo is days away…thanks for the opportunity to win a complimentary safe sippy. love your website!
well, i only have 1 and thats the born free sippy cup and my daughter really enjoys it!
i love the foogo brand sippy cups!
We’re currently using a Playtex sippy cup aged for 24 mos + – it looks just like his daddy’s “sippy cup” (coffee travel mug)
Thanks for all the great info and giveaways!
wow i love to win one for my little one thanks
This looks great and would love to win! Thanks for the chance!
My son has not warmed up to drinking anything from a sippy cup. However, recently I got the Nuby straw sip & flip and he seems to tolerate that:) So I guess that is a hit at our house! I would like to try this as well, so thanks for the great giveaway!
I saw these in Canada the last time we were there. I like my foogo straw but I’d love another option.
I am using the Avent sippy cups with the rings/nipples from the bottles because he’s not old enough to use the sippy spout yet. I would love to win one of these cool looking sippy’s for my son. Thanks.
we’ve been using the Nuby with the soft spout, but our little man has figured out how to make a great, big mess with it. Time to upgrade, and this sounds like it needs to be on the Try It list!
My daughter likes to teeth on her Thermos 7-oz. Leak Proof Sippy Cup – although we couldn’t find it in pink locally – it is leak proof – I just had trouble taking apart the pieces of the lid for cleaning. However, after she dropped it a bunch of times and put a few small dents in the exterior, I was able to take apart the pieces inside the lid more easily. It is great for keeping liquid cold for longer on hot days. We also use the Nuby Soft Silicone Spout 10 oz No Spill Cup with Handles, but the mechanism/slits that allow it to be “no spill” are easy for teethers to chew through – and the inside of the lid is hard to line up when putting it back together after cleaning.
