Sassy Reformulates Products to Remove BPA

Good news! Sassy contacted us with a new list of products that are being converted to be completely BPA-free over the course of 2009. Many of the feeding products that were part of the mass confusion we experienced in September will be changing over too.
The following products have already been confirmed as PVC-free, and will be officially BPA-free by the dates shown below. Please keep in mind that it will take time for retailers to sell through their current inventory. We’re talking with Sassy in an effort to find distinguishing factors to help guide you to the BPA-free products. Who knows – maybe they’ll break down and label them . . .

The following products still contain PVC, but will BPA-free as of the dates shown:
Boogie Board Buddies (phthalate-free PVC) BPA-free as of 8/1/09
Soft Ducky (phthalate-free PVC) BPA-free as of 12/1/09
