Dandelion Toddler Dishes and Utensils Made from Corn (& Giveaway)

twitter-tuesday-6-23-09

The new reusable Dandelion Toddler Dishes and Utensils are made from biodegradable corn plastic (PLA), helping reduce dependency on both petroleum-based plastics and disposable ware in general.

Not only are they good for the environment, but they’re easy on your wallet!  If you do a little price comparison, you’ll find that Dandelion dishes are literally half the price of competing corn-based dinnerware.  The bowls and divided plates come in a set of 2 and the forks/spoons come in a set of eight.

  • Sized perfectly for your infant and toddler – the divided plate keeps foods separated (everyone knows that foods – like siblings – shouldn’t touch each other!), the bowl has flared tab edges, so it’s easier to hold onto and the spoon is deep bowled (so food will make it all the way to the mouth!) and shaped just right for the unique grasp of a beginner.
  • Dimensions: Divided plate is 7” across, Bowl is is 4 ½’’ wide, 2’’ deep and Utensils are 5” long.
  • All corn-based dishes should be hand washed and are not dishwasher safe
  • BPA, PVC, phthalate and petroleum-free.

These are so bright and cheery, which I love (and I know my son would too). If you have the option to use something non-toxic to feed your baby, why use anything else? I'm crossing my fingers we'll win. : )
